Mr. Navid Agha Seyedali
Mr. Seyedali obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, and his Master Degree in Transportation Engineering from Seattle University, both in Washington State. He has over 30 years of experience in the aircraft industry and currently provides consulting services to aerospace and airline industries. Mr. Seyedali has been involved with Child Foundation for over fifteen years, starting as Regional Manager in Bandung, Indonesia in 1994, responsible for the development of Child Foundation’s Sponsorship Program.

Vice President

Dr. Akabar Farahani
Dr. Akbar Farahani received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, a Masters Degree from the University of California, Irvine in Structural Dynamics and holds a Ph.D from Brigham Young University (BYU), Utah in Civil Engineering, Structural Mechanics. Dr. Farahani has accumulated eighteen years of experience in Product Development, consulting for automotive OEM's and suppliers world wide. Dr. Farahani is currently the Vice President and Director of Engineering at ETA Inc., located in Troy, Michigan. He has published more than thirty papers in automotive industry subjects. 

Secretary

Dr. Asad Azemi
Dr. Asad Azemi is the co-founder and long-term member of Child Foundation’s board of directors. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from UCLA, California and his MS in Electrical Engineering Loyola Marymount University. Dr. Azemi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and is currently an Associate Professor at the Pennsylvania State University. He has published eighty-six journal and conference proceeding-papers. 

Treasurer

Dr. Peyman Raoofi
Dr. Peyman Raoofi received his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from California State University, Northridge in Psychology. He then obtained his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University and his Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Raoofi has published several papers on Autism. Dr. Raoofi is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, and the Board of Iranian Psychological Association of America. Dr. Raoofi is a recipient of the highest level honor of the President’s Volunteer Service Award. He also has been recognized as an Honorary Ambassador by UNICEF.

Mr. Mohammad Zarrabi-Kashani
Mr. Zarrabi received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology and Manufacturing from California State University, Long Beach. He has an MBA from Northwest University, with over 20 years of experience in commercial aerospace industry. He is married and has three grown children. Mr. Zarrabi joined the Child Foundation Board of Directors in August 2011.

Dr. Ali Eydgahi
Dr. Eydgahi received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He started his career as a faculty member at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1985 and since then he has been with the State University of New York, Oakland University, Tehran University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Eastern Michigan University as an administrator and/or a faculty member. Dr. Eydgahi has served as the chair and/or a member of numerous national and international professional societies and has received a number of awards for his accomplishments. Dr. Eydgahi joined the Child Foundation Board of Directors August 2011.

Executive Manager and Director of Marketing

Mr. Masoud Modarres
Mr. Masoud Modarres holds a Master of Public Administration Degree in Non-Profit Organization Management from Rutgers University. Mr. Modarres has been volunteering for CF on the East Coast for over a decade before formally joining CF in early 2009. He has over eighteen years of managerial experience in media and marketing, and he is married and has two grown children. Interviews with Mr. Modarres have been featured a number of times in CNN, BBC, and other Persian and English media.
