Guess Who is Comming to Dinner This Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is a highly-respected, popular tradition in the American society. On this annual occasion, families gather together and spend a happy, peaceful and cherishing night in a spirit of empathy and gratitude for all the blessings of life they enjoy. There are also those who wish the same for others, in fact, for the entire humanity, and spend the night, with the same spirit of empathy, with others not endowed with those blessings.

The Child Foundation , a non-profit organization active in humanitarian fields, has opted for a different form of honoring the occasion, inviting those deprived of access to needed basic food to join us through the virtual world. To this end, the Foundation offers the following three ways of contributing to this humanitarian effort, preferably in more than one way.

  1. Helping the newly-arrived Syrian refugees who, despite the official provision of basic needs, still suffer in many respects
  2. Assisting the Haitians in need of urgent food and medical help in the aftermath of the recent Mathew Hurricane
  3. Contributing to the provision of breakfast in a number of schools in the Province of Sistan and Baluchistan in Iran

We cordially ask all those in a position to extend a helping hand, however they discern, to join us in our humanitarian efforts, and look forward to receive their generous contributions.
