Bring Bread to Afghanistan
The UN reports that around 23 million people in Afghanistan face extreme hunger. As a result, Child Foundation Afghanistan has already networked with 30+ bakeries in Mazar-e Sharif, Afghanistan, to provide bread for our sponsored children and their families to eat.
Each day, remaining loaves are given to other families in need so there is no waste and we can fight the hunger felt by other families. Since August 15, 2022, over 1,000,000 freshly baked loaves of (barbari) bread have been delivered (5 loaves per family), and we are just getting started. Our goal is to distribute another 1,000,000 loaves of bread to Afghan families in need, specially as the winter season approaches.
Join us in bringing bread to Afghanistan. The Bring Bread Campaign will supplement the monthly support already flowing to our sponsored children, other humanitarian aid (like food packages with diverse foodstuffs), and school support.
