Earthquake Relief for Afghanistan
-- Update July 5, 2022 --
The June 22nd 6.0 earthquake in southeast Afghanistan was devastating. Around 1,000 people died, a loss that can never be recovered.
Yet, our team on the ground reports that generous support is coming in from many international NGOs and governments. Thankfully, families are getting the support they need at this time.
As a result, Child Foundation is closing this fundraiser. We will redirect donations to save lives in another part of the country. Our team discovered a remote community of displaced people near Bamyan who are facing starvation. And no one is helping them.
Our
staff and volunteers investigated their needs just days ago. If you wish to
give more to support families like these in Afghanistan or have any questions,
please contact our office [email protected]
