Persian Flavors

You’re invited…

To learn Iranian cooking from a professional chef. The S eattle-Isfahan Sister City Advocacy (SISCA) will host a Khoresh Gheymeh cooking class with The Caspian Chef, Omid Roustaei, on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 10 am PDT. The class is free to you, and details about how to watch it can be found on Facebook and Eventbrite

While enjoying the culinary richness of Iran, you are encouraged to donate to food-insecure families living in Isfahan. A $20 donation will help feed and care for one family. SISCA will match up to $2,000 donated to Child Foundation for Iranian families in need.

Your donation helps…

Isfahani families get food and essentials amidst the crushing economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Incomes have been slashed or vanished. Families are caring for their sick with limited supplies. And those living on the brink are trying to find shelter from the storm but with few resources. They need Emergency  Assistance .

Child Foundation is using its OFAC General License E to send relief funds to our affiliate organization in Iran. That office will procure essentials and grocery store gift cards. The office has already given care packages to families across Iran. We’ve given care packages to thousands of families already. With SISCA’s matching fund, we can help 200 families get food and essentials in Isfahan.
