Apply to be a Child Foundation Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to be part of the Child Foundation mission to help vulnerable but motivated children stay in school and transform their communities. Around 6,000 children have been granted need-based scholarships from Child Foundation through our partner organizations in countries like Afghanistan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Nepal, and Tajikistan.

We work hard to regularly respond to our students’ needs and holistically promote their wellbeing while providing donors and sponsors with the information they need. Sponsorship of students is a resource-intensive program and we are proud to keep our overhead costs down thanks to the dedication of our volunteers.

Most of our volunteers live in the United States and Canada but some help from as far away from our Portland, Oregon headquarters as Europe. We provide equal opportunities to all persons regardless of their race, color, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, or classification of disability. You are welcome to join the Child Foundation volunteer family to help with projects related to translation, graphic design, IT, events/fundraising and even more.

Child Foundation is a proud certifying organization of the President’s Volunteer Service Award program to highlight the exemplary work that our volunteers do. The program recognizes and celebrates individuals making a positive impact on their communities as volunteers.
