Diba’s older brother is in 6th grade and works part-time for very little to buy books and notebooks for his own classes. Diba has two other brothers. They live in an old house which they rented with a relative’s help. They only have one heater in the house which they use for cooking and heating water.

Without financial support, she cannot go to school and your support would make a huge difference. The only income the family receives is from Soghra’s 11-year-old brother, who quit school to shine shoes in the city. The family lives in a new facility for needy families but has no electricity and only enough solar energy to fuel a single light at night. They live without other essential items such as food, fuel, basic furnishings and hot water. 

Soghra absolutely needs generous support to break out of the poverty she was born into and build a better life for herself and her family. Ahmad Reza is a talented 15-year-old student in eighth grade. He was born and raised in Borujerd, Iran. In addition to doing well in school, he also plays football. Ahmad Reza's father died in a hit-and-run accident several years ago. The family received no compensation for his death. Now, Ahmad Reza’s mother cares for the children. Before the death of their father, Ahmad Reza and his brother were injured in an accident and received compensation which their mother deposited in a bank to collect interest. The family bought a rented apartment on the condition of ownership with the help of a charity, and Ahmad Reza’s mother cleans houses for extra income and the monthly payments. A charity helps them with a small monthly stipend, but their needs are greater.

After the death of her husband, she worked hard for a year and a half to make ends meet and rent a house that sheltered her and her children. Thanks to the help of a friend, she was introduced to a woman who needed live-in help. Mehziar's mother teaches at a school in addition to helping the landlord. The old house is located in one of the old areas of the city. The landlord lives downstairs and Mahziar’s family live on the second floor with reduced rent.

Muhammad’s father is no longer present and his mother was in such dire straights to cover their basic costs that she asked her children to quit school. Muhammad’s elder brother reassured her, and the children began to sell chicken to help out. He is motivated to better himself and be a role model for his younger siblings. Muhammad shows a mature and responsible character as a young adult. Due to his teacher’s recommendation, he received education aid from another charity since high school. He wants to attend Sangga Buana University to study business administration.

Fatema is very intelligent and hardworking. Her means to a better life requires an education and her education requires support. Abolfazl's mother could not afford the rent so she forgave her dowry when she divorced her husband. Abolfazl's sister is a student too. A charity helps support the family’s needs. Abolfazl’s mother, after lots of effort, help from a charity, and loans bought a small house (50 sq m). She pays a monthly mortgage and weaves carpets, though their income is not enough for living.

The source of income for the subsidized family is a charity’s stipend and their mother's low income, with which she has difficulty making ends meet.
